The Wizard of Oz
Daisy's story is below the poster.

Daisy first film was with director Victor Fleming in The Wizard of Oz, and she was originally slated to co-star with Judy Garland. The script for the opening scenes at the fictional farm in Kansas were fine and the actors were friendly and easy to work with.
In both the opening on the farm and in the Oz scenes, she really liked Margaret Hamilton even when Hamilton was in costume.
One costume that kept drawing her attention was Bert Lahr's not very cat-like but oddly entrancing Cowardly Lion.
However, she was a little leery of the actors playing the Munchkins when they were in costume, especially when they were dancing around, and the flying monkeys totally unnerved her.
She refused to be anywhere near them. She tried to persuade the director to change the script so she would not be even near scenes involving monkeys or munchkins, but he said that would be impossible with the storyline, and he refused.
So midway through the shooting, the director reluctantly decided that she had to be replaced, with of all things, a dog. The original scenes were reshot with the canine stand-in. Indignant about being replaced by a yappy little dog, she vowed to never again work with Victor Fleming.
